The upcoming Global Microbial Identifier (GMI) Meeting, which will take place in Tunis, Tunisia, on September 24–25, 2026, will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Center, Tunis.
The meeting will bring together international experts, researchers, and institutional representatives involved in microbial genomics, surveillance, data sharing, and outbreak investigation. It will provide an opportunity to share experiences and activities in the field of whole genome sequencing (WGS) and microbial genomic surveillance, while supporting ongoing collaborative efforts across the public health, food safety, and One Health sectors.
